We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Multi-skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business operating in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a permanent back shift role, offering a consistent routine without nights or weekends – ideal for someone who prefers later starts and a structured working pattern.

The role is mechanically biased, focusing on keeping production machinery running efficiently, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
·         Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
·         Support breakdown response to minimise downtime
·         Work on a variety of equipment including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, and general plant machinery
·         Assist with basic electrical fault finding where required
·         Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects
·         Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

 
What We’re Looking For:

·         Strong mechanical maintenance background within manufacturing or production
·         Multi-skilled mindset with basic electrical fault-finding ability
·         Confident using a multi-meter and working safely around electrical systems
·         Able to identify key electrical components (contactors, relays, inverters, etc.)
·         A practical, common-sense approach to maintenance
·         Someone reliable, steady, and happy working in a hands-on role
 
You do NOT need to be electrically qualified, but you must be competent and safe when working with and around electrical systems.

Monday to Friday permanent back shift (2pm – 10pm)
