As part of their ongoing growth, they now have an opportunity for a Tooling/Mechanical Technician to support the production Team.


THE ROLE:
Working a day shift (8a.m – 5p.m) Monday to Friday
Supporting the production team to ensure the readiness and availability of production machinery, duties will include:

• Changing of mould tooling inline with production plan and schedules, utilising lifting equipment, hand and power tools.
• Inspection of mould tooling for defects or required repairs.
• Cleaning down tooling prior to storage or rotation
• Improving processes.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience in a “Mechanical” role, servicing, maintaining or carrying out basic repairs
• Relevant qualifications would be a benefit, but transferable experience is more important.
• General duties can be trained, but applicants will need some abilities around basic mechanical systems and use of hand-tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and pride in their work.
• Strong communication and reporting skills
