We’re looking for a hands-on Operational Excellence Manager to lead a major transformation programme within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact interim role expecting to last approximately 12 months and based in the Oxford area, where you’ll drive the shift from traditional line manufacturing to efficient, world-class cellular systems.


What the Operational Excellence Manager will be doing:

• Leading and delivering critical manufacturing transformation projects.
• Embedding Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles.
• Driving improvements across productivity, quality, cost, and SIOP performance.
• Coaching and influencing teams, overcoming resistance to change, and building engagement.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in Operational Excellence / CI leadership roles within manufacturing.
• Proven background in line-to-cell transformation and cellular manufacturing.
• Strong engineering background 
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and a strong grasp of Value Stream Mapping.
• A confident communicator, positive change agent and natural coach.
